The Illustrations:
These are my notes made from curiosity about the illustrations, especially the people being caricatured. I’d be happy to receive any more information about the illustrations in a Comment.

	White is having your ego lifted when it snows.
	White is sending black men to kill yellow men to protect the land white men stole from the red men.	Lyndon Baines Johnson was the 36th president of the United States from 1963 to 1969.
	White is believing Egypt is part of Europe.
	White is giving your old clothes to your maid.
	White is wearing rings in your ears while laughing at people who wear rings in their noses.
	White is a miniskirted teacher teaching black children to be ashamed of their bodies.
	White is church in the morning and Ku Klux Klan meeting at night.	Robert Shelton was the Imperial Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan from 1961 to 1987.
	White is calling Africa the Dark Continent.
	White is right.	Unidentified, possibly George Wallace. George Wallace was a long-running Governor of Alabama and sought the Democratic Party nomination for president several times, all on a staunch manifesto of segregation.
	White is failing the chittlin’ test.	Chitterlings or chittlins are the cooked small intestines of pigs, cows, lamb, and goat. In the southern states of the US they are associated with Afro-American soul food.
	White is saying “Thank God they want it segregated again”.	James J Kilpatrick was a journalist, writer and prominent supporter of segregation.
	White is saying all blacks have a wonderful sense of rhythm.
	White is saying “We’re all for equality but what would the neighbours say?”
	White is making sure you don’t fall off your pedestal.	The example in the illustration is Rhodesian prime minister Ian Smith.
	White is having two blacks in your school and saying you’re integrated.
	White is wondering why black children don’t stay cute and happy all their lives.
	White is hanging out a “soul Brother” sign during the riots.
	White is knocking the numbers game, but playing the Stock Market.
	White is being totally committed to black power until they start demanding black power.

William Marrion Branham was an American Christian minister and faith healer who claimed to be a prophet who had come to prelude Christ’s second coming. He made a lasting influence on televangelism while facing charges of fraud and tax evasion. He was baptised and ordained a minister by the Imperial Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan, to whom he remained close throughout his life.
	White is still thinking Custer won.	Wikipedia George Armstrong Custer was a flamboyant army general in the Civil War and American Indian Wars. What became known as ‘Custer’s Last Stand’ was a complete defeat at the Battle of the Little Big Horn where he and every member of his command was killed.
	White is finding your identity in the Ajax commercial.
	White is wondering what comes after “Up against the wall…”	Wikipedia Likely to be Jimmie Dodd and Annette Funicello of the Mickey Mouse Club television series, wearing their Mickey Mouse ears. The entertainment show also encouraged children to make the ‘right moral decisions’.
	White is not knowing what to call them.
	White is thinking that black guys win the short dash but not the long distance races.
	White is using black men’s hearts for white men’s lives.	In 1968 surgeons in Virginia stopped life support for Bruce Tucker, an African American man, removed his heart and transplanted it into Joseph Klett, a white man. None of this was done with the consent of Tucker or his family. A legal battle followed that revealed the level of racism and segregation that extended into the healthcare system. 	White is speaking with a forked-up tongue and making false treaties.
	White is walking hand-in-hand with a black man while watching for stares.
	White is growing up nervous.
	White is saying “My parents had it just as hard as the black people.”
	White is a flesh colored band aid.
	White is saying the Pledge of Allegiance with tears in your eyes and a gun in your hand.
